Thursday, May 6th, 2010Variety Shout Out
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010from the Variety Review of the film Pelada:
“Crisp, colorful lensing aside, pic’s tone is set by a combination of score and script. Music selections from indie artists such as Nico Stai, Nick Ogawa and L’elan Vital give the film the infectiously upbeat energy it needs to prevent the round-the-world venture from growing monotonous.”

Monday, November 9th, 2009I played a show on Saturday night with Joseph Drushal on drums. We played in conjunction with the Youngblood online store launch.
Our friends Sonen played first and rocked the house, and then Ginger Collins and the Garter Girls did an awesome burlesque act. We went on and played a really fun set, some of which is captured here:
I just uploaded the song here too if you want to hear a higher quality audio version.

Thursday, September 10th, 2009New EP Coming SOON
Thursday, April 30th, 2009I’ve been hard at work on a new album, or EP really since it’s 5 songs, and it’s almost finished. The songs are mastered and the discs are being pressed right now, and should be available on cdbaby and itunes in a couple of weeks. My buddy Jamison did this amazing oil painting for the cover, which I believe was inspired by one of the songs on the EP called “Neon Green Alligator.” The new EP is a pretty big departure from my previous stuff, incorporating much heavier beats and more effects and instruments. I’m anxious to see if people who like the old music I’ve done will like the new stuff. Here’s the lead track from the disc “Light The Flame.”
